How to Chose your Company Name?

So let's get started... The name!

For me, this was one of the most difficult decisions I had to make throughout embarking my business journey. Little did I know, at that time, the difficulty was self-derived. Initially, when faced with this trivial task, I bombarded my self with an exorbitant amount of questions 'Does this sounds right?', 'Is this effectively representing me?' , 'Does this pop out to people?' AND 'Is it memorable?'

Ultimately, what I had come to realise...

Was, all that matters is that, the name comes from you, the name is personal to you and finally, that YOU like it. As long as you like it, it does not matter what you name your business. I constantly thought to myself, how must of 'coco-cola' sounded when the company was first created. It's not so much what the company name is but more so, about what you do with the name! Your business itself, is what makes the name valuable.

So, tip number 1. Do not overthink 2. Ask friends for their opinion but ultimately you make the decision, and 3. Choose something that is easy and simple to spell, type and pronounce.
